AI Home Inventory is designed with a privacy-first architecture. We believe your household data is private to you.

1. Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or share any personal information, photos, room inventories, or spreadsheet data. All of your files and photo scans are stored strictly locally on your own device.

2. Third-Party AI Services

To provide automatic item valuations and descriptions, the app connects directly to OpenAI (ChatGPT) or Google Gemini via the API key you configure in settings. Your data is sent directly to these official endpoints to perform the calculations and is not intercepted or stored by us.

3. Security

Your API keys and licensing credentials are saved securely in the device's native sandboxed storage, ensuring they are inaccessible to other apps.
