What Beeped?I have 10 desktops on my Mac and 2 monitors. I often get sound alerts from some app, but have no idea where it came from. I built this neat utility to monitor all my system alert sounds and to tell me where they came from. For browsers, the tab is identified and the URL is displayed. No AI is needed except to build this program! The paid ($4.99) version is fully adjustable and will (if desired) change focus to the beeping app. The free version (upgradable in the app) only displays the pop-up window shown at bottom right. I have created several Mac/Windows desktop apps that use AI to do useful tasks. These are nontrivial tasks, so the AI requires a significant amount of user interaction. Also, the user must acquire an API key. (Google gives then for free, but you will get better results if you fund your key by adding a credit card—cost is almost nothing.)
Here is advice on which AI platform to use, and how much each costs.
My trial programs are free to test out, but unless you buy them, they will not write out the results. My store is now open so you can purchase the programs.
